It’s not massively enthralling, though there are some little tidbits in here for long-term fans. While the bulk of the game takes place in maps, there is the occasional cutcsene and bit of dialogue to help flesh out the game’s story. Gears Tactics sees the Gears of War series cross with the turn-based tactics genre, and it’s an excellent fit.
